About Neonrocket
Banners, aggressive campaigns and empty slogans filled the world with noise that people no longer notice. It is not enough to shout louder, you have to speak more honestly. That is how we work.

My name is Miloslav, I am the founder of Neonrocket, and instead of one more paragraph about “company values” I decided to tell you how we got here.
How a sole trader became a company
Neonrocket did not start as a company with a logo, a strategy and a five-year plan. It started as a sole trader business that I founded some twenty years ago, and it began as most startups do: in a garage, with a computer under the desk and a conviction that this is what I wanted to do properly. Interest from clients grew, first slowly and then faster. The business became a limited company, and colleagues joined who understand the work as well as I do or better. The core did not change in twenty years: we do this because it genuinely interests us, not only because it earns money.
A fascination that never wore off
When I started, the internet was a place where pages loaded slowly and most companies did not know why they would need a website. Over the years I had the luck to watch, and often to try with my own hands, almost every big change the internet has gone through: broadband, smartphones, social networks and, lately, artificial intelligence, which is turning upside down the procedures we got used to. A field like this cannot be learned once and then repeated. You have to keep at it, or within a few years you are doing things in a way that no longer works as well as it used to. For me that was never a burden. It is the reason the work still interests me today.
A period that disappointed me
I will not pretend I enjoyed everything on this road. There was a time when it seemed the internet stopped caring what is valuable and cared only about what sells fastest or gets scrolled most. Content was written for algorithms instead of people, and campaigns were steered by automatons optimising numbers without anyone asking whether it made sense for the visitor on the other side. The craft I liked was turning into an assembly line.
From that disappointment grew what I now call the philosophy of Neonrocket. We deal with conversions, data and results, because without them a company does not survive, but we do not do it in a way that makes the human disappear. A machine is perfect wherever something has to be done repeatedly, precisely and without tiredness, and that is exactly what we use it for. Where emotion, context and an understanding of what a customer really needs are required, a person is needed. We use artificial intelligence as a tool that helps us do better work, not as a replacement for the reason we like this work.
A small team that likes what it does
We are deliberately a small team in which everyone knows what to do and is good in their field, not because we could not be bigger but because it is the way to keep what matters to me most. Neonrocket is made of two permanent people: me and my longtime colleague, the freelancer Jozef Bindas. Where needed, we work with other trusted freelancers. When you write to us, you are answered by me or by one of the people who really work on your project, not by an interpreter behind a layer of account managers who see neither the code nor the campaign. We decide about your site or campaign from data, not from what looks good, and when something does not work, I would rather say so and change direction than stick to the original plan out of stubbornness.
Who we work for, and who we would rather not
We do not go after large multinational contracts where whole teams work and a person reaches their own work through three layers of approval. I say it openly. We are not built for that capacity and I do not want to promise something we would have to make up at the expense of other clients. A campaign for a global brand will probably not come from us, and I will not tell you that we are the best on the market, because such a sentence means nothing anyway.
What I can tell you is this: we specialise in small and medium-sized companies in Slovakia and Czechia, and for agencies in Europe that need a reliable production partner, and in this we are really good. We know their budgets and their pace, and that a decision there is made in one phone call and not in three months. That is why we can offer an ordinary company a price-to-performance ratio that a large agency with overheads cannot.
To see how this looks in practice, look at our services, at the white label partnership, or write to me through the contact page. Our agency is also listed in the Google Partners programme (opens in a new window).
